This collage is of my sister and her two boys. She always said that her love for them was like her “medicine,” (she was, and remains, very ill). This collage is rather large, about 36” x  45” and when viewed up close, one can see antique medicine bottles engraved on the columns behind her filled with butterflies, nuts, herbs, and other ephemera.
