Inks

Everyone has their own preference, but I love Parkers Quink Ink’s. They are smooth, and you can get them in permanent colors, and the Sapphire Blue is just astoundingly dark and nice. In addition, they don’t clog your nibs.

Regardless of the ink that you prefer, it is STRONGLY recommended that you DO NOT use india ink in a fountain pen. This ink will leave behind various particles that will end up clogging the pen and causing all sorts of mischief. Stay away from Indian or drafting inks unless you want to say good-bye to your favorite pen.

Although it is water-based, Noodler’s ink becomes waterproof when it chemically bonds to the cellulose on paper, making it archival quality!

Montblanc inks are... o.k.
